Dropping a Course

Requests to drop a course must be submitted in writing. Please contact TOA Registrar at toa_registration@lacoe.edu if you need to drop a course.

TeachStar Courses

A full refund will be issued if drop request is submitted before 5 pm PT on the Friday two weeks prior to the start date of the course. No refund will be issued if drop request is submitted after 5PM on the Friday two weeks prior to the start date of the course.

A course fee credit will be issued for a future course if drop request is submitted before 5 pm PT on the 7th calendar day of the course. No credit will be issued if drop request is submitted after 5 pm PT on the 7th calendar day of the course.

No Credit will be issued if drop request is submitted after 5 pm PT on the 7th calendar day of the course.

Course Cancellation

TeachStar Online Academy reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or combine courses, and to change instructors. Courses may be canceled prior to the course start date if fewer than the required minimum number of students enroll. If a course is canceled or rescheduled, you may request a refund.
