Teachers continue to refine their instructional strategies and develop tools to implement in the crucial area of academic language development. Participants analyze and reflect on unedited ELD lesson videos filmed in classrooms just like theirs.

All TeachStar Online Academy courses offer optional CEUs, Graduate Education Units, Professional Development Credit or Salary Point Credits (LAUSD teachers only).

Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD)

• 3 Salary Points [20260801]
• Participants are automatically enrolled through MyPLN and receive LAUSD Salary Points.

University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Extension Credit

• 4.5 Quarter Units (3 Semester Units)
• $300 UCLA Tuition Fee (This is in addition to the TeachStar Online tuition fee.)
• Participants are given the opportunity to register with UCLA during the 2nd week of their TeachStar Online course.
